How to use the balance planner
See whether checking makes it to payday, and what holding a bill would leave.
Anyone who sees all of the household's money. It's on every plan.
- 1
Open the “Balance planner” card on Home, or Bills → “Planner” for the whole month.
- 2
The big figure is what’s in checking at the end of the month, after everything ticked. “Lowest before payday” is how low it gets before your next paycheck lands.
- 3
Untick a bill to see what holding it would leave. Ticks are a what-if: they stay on that screen only.
- 4
Tap an amount to change it, for a bill that’s bigger or smaller this time.
- 5
Tap a bill’s name for more: “Mark paid”, “Hold off”, or “Take off planner”.
- 6
To add a paycheck, press “+ Add”, choose “Coming in”, and fill in the amount, the next pay date and how often. Then press “Add to the planner”.
Worth knowing
- With Connected, the planner starts from your bank’s real balance.
