Pitch In vs Cozi
Looking for a Cozi alternative?
Cozi is a good family calendar, and millions of families use it. If that’s all you need, keep it. Pitch In is for the household that also wants the chores shared out, the bills and the budget in the same place, and a sign-in for each person, so a teenager sees their chores and not the bank account.

Choose Cozi if
- You mainly want a family calendar that syncs with the calendars you already use.
- Meal planning and a recipe box matter to you. Pitch In has neither.
- Everyone in the house is fine seeing everything, and one shared password works for you.
Choose Pitch In if
- You want the chores shared, not just listed. Chores have names on them, the ones nobody wants can take turns, and anyone can take one that’s up for grabs.
- The money is part of running your house. Bills, a budget and a balance planner sit beside the calendar, typed in for free or filled in by your bank.
- You have teenagers. Each person 13 and up gets their own sign-in, and you decide what they see of the money: everything, one shared account, or nothing. More for families with teens.
- You don’t want ads. Pitch In has none on any plan, and the only way it makes money is a plan you choose to pay for.
