A household that could exist. The figures are examples, not anybody’s real money.
Everything. Every balance, every transaction, what is due and when — and, account by account, how much of it each other person can see.
Their chores, and what each one pays. Of the household's money they see only what was opened up to them — spending without balances, or nothing at all. Never a number nobody chose to show them.
What nothing else does
A teenager can’t pitch in on something they can’t see.
Most money apps are built for the one person who does the books. The rest of the house finds out what happened when somebody tells them, which is how a fifteen-year-old learns that money is a thing adults are annoyed about.
Here everyone gets their own sign-in, and you decide what each of them can see — the chores they owe and nothing else, or the grocery budget too, or all of it. Nobody is handed a password, nobody sees a balance you did not mean to show them, and taking part stops depending on being told.
Chores and money aren’t wired together yet — earning against a chore is what we’re building next, and early access is how you get a say in it.

- Balances that move as you type
- Record what you spend and earn and your accounts follow. Categorise as you go, or don't — it still adds up.
- A budget that warns you before payday
- Set a monthly limit per category and watch what's left, not what's gone. The bar turns red before your balance does.

- Bills you hear about in advance
- Rent, subscriptions, the electric. What's due, what's overdue, and what the next fortnight takes out before it takes it.
- Chores that don't need chasing
- Set something to repeat and it appears on the right days by itself. Anyone can tick it off or skip it, and everyone sees who did what.

Set the household up
Name it, add the accounts you actually use, and put in what you know. Nothing has to be complete on day one.
Everyone pitches in
Invite whoever lives there and choose what each of them sees. They get their own sign-in, not yours — which is the difference between being told and taking part.

Every household’s data is separated by the database itself, not by application code remembering to filter it. That holds even for us — our own admin screens can count how many households exist, and cannot read a single transaction inside one. Nothing sold, no advertising, no analytics following you around.
