Joining a household someone else set up
You don’t need an invitation from us — you need one from them. Here’s how that works.
If they sent you a link, open it
A share link is the invitation — it carries the household with it, so there's no code to type and nothing to ask us for. It's the quickest way in, and it's the one most people are given.
If they invited your email address, just sign in
An invitation sent to your address is waiting for you the moment you have an account. Use the same address they invited — including with Google, which works here even though the rest of the product is invite-only.
If you have neither, ask them — not us
Only a household's owner or an admin can add somebody to it, so this is the one thing we can't do for you. Ask whoever set it up to send you a link or invite your email address; it takes them a moment from their Members page.
