How to add a passkey or two-step sign-in
Sign in with Face ID or Touch ID, and add a second step to your password.
Everyone. Connecting a bank needs a passkey.
- 1
Tap your name, then “Your account”.
- 2
Under “Passkeys”, press “Add a passkey”. Your phone or computer asks for your face, fingerprint or PIN.
- 3
For two-step sign-in, press “Set up two-step verification”, enter your password, and scan the code with an authenticator app.
- 4
Save the backup codes it shows somewhere safe, enter the code from the app, and press “Turn it on”.
Worth knowing
- If you sign in with Google, use Google’s own two-step sign-in instead.
- If adding a passkey says it needs a recent sign-in, sign out, sign back in, and try again.
