How to add a recurring chore

Make a chore that repeats every day, week or month, give it to someone, and break it into steps.

Anyone in the household can add a chore. Changing or removing one is for the owner and admins.

Go to Chores and press “Add chore”.

Give it a “Name”. If it has parts, add “Steps”, one per line: it’s done when every step is ticked.

Under “Repeats”, choose how often: every day, every week or every two weeks on the days you pick, every month on the same date, or ongoing with no set days.

Set when it starts, and a time of day under “At” if it matters.

Under “Who”, tick who it’s for. Nobody ticked means anyone. With two or more, choose “Each person does it” or “Up for grabs”.

Press “Add chore”.

Worth knowing

To mark a chore done, tap its circle on Chores or Home. A chore with steps opens so each step can be ticked.
